"Fire and water,” he said, “don’t really mix. You could say they’re incompatible. But when they do love each other, they love passionately."

The original five gunners have saved my life countless  times, to some people their just a random rock and roll band, but to some of their fans, like me, their a lifeline.
Their songs describe things that people go through every day, like love or drug problems.
For example, November Rain describes unrequited love, you can actually feel the emotions during the song as Axl’s voice and Slash’s amazing solo take you through an emotional roller-coaster. The lyrics build a picture in your head and you feel as if you’re going through it yourself.
Or a song like Mr Brownstone, describes the drug binges the band went through in their early days and how it affected them, how it messed up their lives, being late to shows and how the drugs turned out to be the focus of their lives.
Reblog or like if you’re a GN’R fan and agree with me.
